All aboard for UTAH!

(this is actually the view from John and Jan's new house. can you BELIEVE IT!? I mean, where is the swamp?! There isn't a swamp?!)

What a great trip to Salt Lake City!


Bobby and I went out for Caleb's baptism and a great time with the Thomson Family! The Thomson side were there from all over: Jacksonville, Panama City, Long Island, Atlanta and Jan's side came in from Provo and Las Vegas!


There was, of course, the beautiful baptism, followed by one heck of a BBQ lunch, Park City, Sundance, 4-wheelin (not for me!), movies, lots of eating- it was a fun fun time and was good to get almost everyone together.

Utah is DRY! Man, were the east-coasters using that chap-stick! But, there was also straight hair so there were some trade offs...


As always, John and Jan were the perfect hosts and we are already thinking of all the things we want to do NEXT time we go!

Utah!!!

What a great time we had in Utah. If you are ever looking for an excellent "Utah 101" tour in 4 days, Jan and John are the ones to see. Talk about feeling like special guests! After Las Vegas, Bobby and I took a much overdue visit to see Bobby's Brother John, wife Jan and kids Caleb and Sunny. We saw snow, city, mountains, sun and desert: Salt Lake City, Park City, Provo, Sundance (loved it), Moab AND John and Jan's amazing new home. Park City reminded me of a more spread out, slightly smaller Switzerland, and Moab was just amazing. Like I told Jan, it was like where Wylie Coyote and the Road runner raced around-very different from "the swamp" that we are quite familiar with here at home! Bobby was in heaven four-wheeling. We had a fantastic time, loved spending time with the Fam, (along wit

h Jan's Family in Provo and Sundance!) and were glad that we got to do so much while we are there. Bravo John and Jan and thank you! (Is "snuggles the snake" still around?!).
